"Tag, You're It!" is a new online feature for TBF, where we will acknowledge and reward those who submit their cards legibly and correctly.TBF will highlight one tag or release card each week and reward those who are selected with random 'fun' prizes.Remember, if you don't fill out your cards in a complete and legible manner, TBF cannot use your data… which means you miss out on fun prizes and the fish miss out on important science that helps keep them in the water! So please remember to be careful when filling out your cards. Got a great story about one of your recent catch/tag & releases?- Send in your story and photos via email.
Congratulations to this week's winner- Rocky Jones!
On June 19th, Rocky Jones of Pensacola, Florida (a TBF member since 2007) tagged and released a white marlin during the Emerald Coast Billfish Tournament in Destin, Florida. After tagging the white marlin, he was able to release the fish in excellent condition. He was aboard the Reel Addiction with Captain Robert Davis and mates Louis Porto and Travis Gill, all of whom are TBF members. Congratulations to them as they got third place in the tournament's Release division, were one of the top crews and congratulations to Rocky for doing so well in the tournament. Rocky will receive some sunglass straps/holders and TBF pens. Thank you guys for your continued support and keep those tag cards coming in!
